What is trauma?
A trauma may be a car crash, a loss of a loved one, a bad experience at work or some major incident that has knocked you for six. The current theme here is that a person has undergone some severe physical or emotional trauma, usually while in a very intense state of focus and emotional intensity. This is a negative form of hypnosis that is called trauma.
When we are in a highly emotional state and we experience either intense pain or intense pleasure our brains can forge for us a link, and we end up having responses to things which remind us of those initial events, even years after they have happened to us.
How can hypnotherapy help me?
If the effects from some past trauma are still affecting your life, then hypnotherapy may be able to help you to come to terms with what has happened in the past. We use also techniques from a technology called NLP , which is very effective at resolving past trauma and helping you to develop a meaningful future.
